Dyspraxia

Children playing on the beachA few dyslexic children exhibit, in varying degrees, what is often referred to as "clumsy child syndrome". This is also known as dyspraxia, a motor development problem either in speech, articulation or movement.

We have a specialist teacher who assesses children for dyspraxia. She undertakes a specific motor development programme which enables dyspraxic children to develop their writing skills and become more competent at sport. Articulation problems can be referred to our Speech Therapist.
