Overcoming Dyslexia

Happy Pupils in a classIf the right help is given, there is no reason why the dyslexic child should not be able to fulfil his or her own educational potential and read and write fluently.

Inappropriate help, however well meaning, can be harmful to the dyslexic child. No amount of extra work, threats or punishment will replace the appropriate, specialised assistance vital to resolving the dyslexic child's learning difficulties.

The key to unlocking the talents of dyslexic children lies in giving them immediate, structured and appropriate help.
